On this first stage we drive from Edinburgh to Balquidder (location of Rob Roy MacGregor’s Grave) along the way passing The Kelpies, two 30-metre-high horse-head sculptures by Andy Scott
Turning off the M9 we will then travel down the A84 to for a few kilometres before turning off for a coffee at the Woodhouse Farm Shop and Café at Kippen. Then its on for a beautiful drive through the Trossachs via the Port of Menteith and Aberfoyle arriving back on the A84 at Kilmahog.
From here it’s a short drive to Balquidder and Rob Roy’s grave where we will stop for some lunch

Gateway to the Highlands
It is on this road that you start to get a real feel of the Highlands. Coming back onto the main road from Balquidder we travel to The Falls of Dochart at Killin.
From there we go to Crianlarich where we stop for a comfort break.
